PLEASE NOTE: For the time being, our programs are limited and only offered out of our Westchester and Connecticut territories. Any lessons are held in MILFORD, CT. Our boarding programs are held out of the trainers home in Northern Westchester or Connecticut!

We’re excited to offer your new pups, especially those under the 5 month age limit, a puppy program to get started before any of our intensive programs! Our dog trainers in Manhattan know that being a puppy parent can amount to a lot of work. Between potty training, proper crate training, socialization and maybe even throwing in some tricks; you’ve got your hands full! That being said, our dog trainers in Manhattan and the surrounding areas are happy to help you manage and work with your new puppy during those first few months!

Our basic obedience package is always a great place to start if you’re interested in working alongside your pup during their training. Our dog trainers in Manhattan at Off Leash K9 Training are dedicated to working on the basics with you and your pup. This package includes the Off-Leash K9 Training E-Collar which all of our dogs are trained on, and includes all FOUR lessons. The e-collar we use has a two-year warranty, it is completely waterproof, and it has a range of 1/2 a mile! This will be brought to your first lesson!

WHAT DO WE COVER?

Come | Extended Sit | Extended Down | Extended Place (they will sit on a specific location that you point to- chair, park bench, etc) | Loose-Leash Heeling (they will walk right beside of you on a leash) | Off (Negative behaviors such as jumping, barking, chewing, etc) | *Extended sit, down, and place means your dog will REMAIN in the down, sit, or place position until YOU tell them to “break” (release them).

This package is for those who really want their dog to be rock-stars! This includes 8 lessons and the e-collar. Your first four lessons will follow the curriculum for our Basic Obedience Program. After this, you will progress into more advanced commands! During these sessions you will be spending an hour each week with one of our dog trainers in Manhattan/Long Island or one of our surrounding lesson locations. All of our programs include our e-collar as well. The e-collar we use has a two-year warranty, it is completely waterproof, and it has a range of 1.2 mile!

WHAT DO WE COVER?

All Basic Obedience (Come, sit, down, place, heel, off, break) and FOUR additional advanced commands (you get to chose from our options): Touch | Through | Come to Heel | Sit in Motion | Watch | Stand | and many more!

Does your dog have issues with dog aggression, dog reactivity, or simply go over the top when it comes to other dogs or even humans being around? If so, this is specially designed program may be the best option for you, your dog and one of our certified dog trainers in Albany! This package includes 8 private lessons. We will be giving your dog (and you) the skills, tools, obedience, and desensitization that is necessary in order to put you back in control of these situations.

WHAT DO WE COVER?

All Basic Obedience (Come, sit, down, place, heel, off, break) and 4 focused sessions (you will work your dog around dogs/humans during all your remaining sessions)

This is a very popular program and is usually booked for a few months in advance! In this program, you will drop off your dog, and two-weeks later you will pick up a dog that is able to be outside, off-leash, and around distractions!

Our two-week program focuses on practical, everyday obedience that is completed with a high level of precision, outside, off-leash, with distractions!  Throwing in a bit of everything, our dog trainers in Manhattan include general manners and socialization (dogs and people) into the mix everyday as well. All of the commands included in this package are taught through high-level distraction proofing to ensure your pup will be able to adapt and perform in all different environments!

WHAT DO WE COVER?

Come | Extended Sit | Extended Down | Extended Place (Jump up and sit on any object you point to on command and stay there until released) | Loose Leash and Off-Leash Walking/Heeling | Off (correction of any unwanted and negative behaviors) | Break (release from command) | Greeting Manners (not jumping up) | Door Manners (wait when doors or gates are opened)

After completion of the training, owner will be provided with a 2 hour one-on-one session which will detail everything their companion does, how to handle them, and how to properly control them
